Adrienne Anderson is currently a full time artist and is full time professor at the Art Institute of Atlanta. Anderson was Assistant Dean of the Visual Communication Department in Atlanta at AIU Buckhead and Associate Professor of Art at Kennesaw State University. In 2007 and 08 Anderson was recognized by Who’s Who registry for Executives and Professionals. Ms Anderson has had over 50 one person exhibitions in the United States and Europe. Ms Anderson is also the recipient of the Childe Hassam/Alexander Calder Award by the American Academy of Arts and Letters Lifetime Membership. In 1997 she was honored as one the 150 most outstanding "Women in the Visual Arts" in the state of Georgia. Ms Anderson has exhibited in numerous museums: Queens Museum, Queens, New York, Springfield Museum, Springfield, MS, National Museum of American Art, Washington, DC, and the High Museum, Atlanta, GA.
